Where? Anschutz Health Sciences Building, 1890 N Revere Ct., Aurora, CO 80045

When? Healthy Start Moms is open for appointments Monday-Saturday. Mornings are preferred, but we can accommodate afternoons and evenings as well.

How do I schedule? Call us on our direct line (720-731-4875), email us (hsmoms@ucdenver.edu) or write to us here

The Visit: Plan for about 2.5 hours to complete your visit. Components include an Oral Glucose Tolerance Test, questionnaires, measurements, Sphygmocor (an arterial stiffness test) and a body composition (BodPod) test.

Please bring a swimsuit or wear form fitted clothing (spandex shorts and a sports bra) without metal or padding for the BodPod measurement. Come fasted (no food or drinks other than water/medications for 8 hours). You will have ~1 hour of downtime so feel free to bring a book, work, or something else to do. You will be compensated for your time.
