Celeste Connell, MPH ●
Healthy Start Moms Project Manager

Celeste holds an MPH in Epidemiology from the Colorado School of Public Health and a BA in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder. Her research interests include systemic racism, maternal health, and environmental exposures. In her free time, Celeste loves being outside (whether it’s playing tennis, skiing, hiking, swimming in a creek, or relaxing in a big grassy park). She also loves meditating, reading, cooking, discovering new music, and exploring Denver’s vibrant art, comedy, and food scenes.

Fátima Pacheco Vásquez, MD ●
Research Specialist

Fátima earned her MD in her home country of Costa Rica. Her educational goal is to pursue a Master of Science in Epidemiology to gain a deeper understanding of disease causes, distribution, and control, while also improving her research skills. In her free time, Fátima enjoys cooking, swimming, dancing, traveling, gardening, spending time in nature, and most importantly, sharing quality time with friends and family.
